St. Montfort's Senior Secondary School [CBSE PROPOSED]
In view of providing an excellent environment for holistic education, the school was established on 4th April 2011 with Class I & II and now it has reached up to Class- V. It will be developed in to a Higher Secondary School by adding a higher class every year.
Within the short span of its existence, the school has made impressive progress and has become a landmark in Baruipur. Our child-friendly approach is gaining wide public acceptance.
It is a co-education school and the medium of instruction is English. It would develop additional facilities for including children with hearing impediment also.
It is established and managed by Brothers of St. Gabriel Education Society (Registration No. 332/84-85, Patna).
The Society had procured 4.91 acres of land at Balarampur, Baruipur in the year 2006. A master plan was prepared for starting a Pre-School, a Senior Secondary School, a Hostel and a Centre for Hearing Impaired children. The Foundation stone was laid on 27th January 2010 by Rt. Rev. Salvadore Lobo, the Bishop of Baruipur.
The School is named "St. Montfort's Senior Secondary School". It would draw inspiration from the dynamism and courage of St. Louis de Montfort who contributed immensely to the promotion of human development and Universal Brotherhood.
