Ok I have a baby, 6 months old, and I cannot think of leaving him with the Nanny. I have developed a lovely attachment to him. I love doing job also, but when I think of leaving him to some playschool or hiring a nanny, tears roll out. I know, anyways there is going to be a day when he will be going to the playschool then school. But right now I am confused is it considered a good motherhood of leaving a six month old baby to some nanny or playschool. I think I should wait until he learns to stand at least. Need your suggestion.

Dear Himani, mother is the best caretaker a kid can have at any stage of growing. As you explained, your baby is too young for you to get your focus off him. It would be advisable you be around him till he is at least 2 years of age.An infant of less than 2 years can hardly express his discomfort and it takes a ‘mother’s heart’ to analyse the same and provide comfort to your baby.
